Beadnell Towers

We haven't stayed yet so can't comment on the rooms. But we went for afternoon tea on a sunday, there was a mix up with our reservation due to computer errors but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had afternoon tea. They food itself was superb the atmosphere is lovely and elegant and the service was faultless, quick polite and very helpful. The location in my eyes is unrivalled. Definitely planning on going for a night and dinner. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.

We were a party of four who stayed last weekend . The booking over the phone with Cameron was really coming and he did a brilliant job all weekend looking after us . Maria made check in was so welcoming and she was around to advise us on our needs . Our rooms “ Ducket” and “ Hyem” were lovely , sis opus clean and warm . The food was excellent and as I vegitarian the choices really good and not the boring norm usually offered . Thank you bar staff too . A fabulous stay .

The hotel is lovely, comfortable and warm. Breakfasts are good, although scrambled eggs were less than warm on the first morning. Our only evening meal was very disappointing. So we'd go back but only B and B

We booked afternoon tea to celebrate a family birthday and what a treat it was! The service was excellent, with particular thanks to Robert. The bar and restaurant were beautifully decorated and furnished, the food was delicious - the scones in particular were a triumph! We’re looking forward to a return visit.

Visited on a very wet and windy Wednesday night in January to try the Bar & Kitchen. We were greeted by friendly, relaxed staff. Menu was lovely and it took us a while to choose only 2 starters and mains as the selection was lovely. Food arrived piping hot and cooked to perfection; we had the 10oz Himalayan Rib Eye and Braised Ox Cheek for mains and Local Crab on Sourdough and Blue Cheese Soufflé for starters. All were delicious! Desserts were wonderful too; a vanilla rice pudding and rum soaked pineapple with coconut ice cream…..amazing! All in all a lovely visit, made better by the friendly, efficient service and warm welcome! Will definitely return next time we’re up here.

Stayed for a friends birthday. Bar and restaurant were fantastic - excellent cocktail happy hour, and food was delicious, both evening meal and breakfast. Pork cheek and venison absolutely delicious and service was excellent, particularly for a large group. The room was well maintained and nicely decorated, however the shower was lukewarm at best, and others in our party reported the same issue in their rooms. There is a small sign saying this is due to a legal temperature limit being applied however I have never heard of this in any other hotel and is disappointing given the Northumbrian coast is beautiful, but chilly and the rooms aren’t cheap. If they could sort this out it would be a 5* trip as it’s a beautiful place in a stunning location.

Absolutely fantastic stay . The staff were so inviting and friendly . We had the special fish and chips for evening meal which did not disappoint. The breakfast was super nice . The room we stopped in was spotless and clean . Maria on reception ensured we had a lovely stay and was also greeted by the manager . The car park was on the hotel premises so. Unloading the car was a breeze . Full range of beers on the bar which were very reasonably priced . We have re booked to back in January. Gary & Anne Marie

I enjoyed a three night stay midweek in February. The 30% discount offer made this brilliant value at £304 for the three nights for single occupancy. Though I arrived early I was warmly welcomed by Cameron and was shown to my lovely room. The Superior King Rooms offer stylish decor, comfortable beds and impressive bathrooms. With a Michelin Key my expectations were high and rightly so. On a couple of occasions where my expectations weren't met the staff fixed the issues without compromise. The General Manager,Mick,is highly visable front of house. His impact was very much felt in terms of professionalism and efficiency. During my stay I ate only at the hotel. The menu was extensive enough to keep me in choices. The food is delicious and excellent quality. All of the staff I met give Northern hospitality and the hotel has a very warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back. I'm already looking forward to it.
